Oriantation

Saturday was orientation day for Serve the City volunteers. At 10 or so in the morning we began which meant that I had to be there several hours earlier to set up sound and projection equipment. The presentation that I put together went well. A team from South Africa did a dance for everyone that was really cool. Afterwards the volunteers went out to various workshops. When everyone met back at EPEE we took a group picture but some people were left out, but I think we will be retaking it again anyways. This was followed by lunch and free time until dinner. The next morning I got to sleep in, but I went to the market with Brittany Deal to check out the neat antiques and second hand items. Then Brian and I had to head to EPEE to get the sound and projection equipment to set up in a church aound the corner for all well. All well went well, haha, the worship team did a great job and Carlton gave an enticing message. All well was followed by dinner at EPEE. Unfortunatley we had to set up all the equipment before we left so we could hav eit ready in the morning. Tonight I have jsut been looking through pics so we can put together a slide show for tomorrow morning. Tomorrow we begin the serving of the city!

  1. Awesome!

It's amazing to have just done Serve the City-Chesapeake and to be hearing about Serve the City-Brussels.

Especially when you throw in hilarious jokes like "All well went well". haha
